Access

Follow the brown and white camping road signs to the campsite, and prepare for one of the more memorable arrivals in Somerset. The approach begins at the top of our drive, clearly signposted with brown wooden 'Batcombe Vale Farm' signs on either side, before winding down a quarter-mile, single-track lane with stunning views across the vale. Taken steadily, it's an easy, enjoyable descent — and guests have been making this journey for over 40 years as a much-loved part of the arrival. It's a hidden corner of Somerset that feels wonderfully remote, and by the time you reach our beautiful, secluded setting at the bottom, you'll understand why the journey down is part of what makes this place special.
