Batcombe is around 30-minute walk away. Here you’ll find The Three Horseshoes, an award-winning 17th-century country pub serving seasonal food in a relaxed, traditional setting.
Within 30-minute walk is Westcombe Dairy, famous for its award-winning cheeses, charcuterie, Landrace bread, and locally produced goods - perfect for picnic supplies or a relaxed light lunch stop (Mon-Fri 9:00-17:30, Sat 10:30-15:00). Next door, the Woodshedding Brewery Beer Hall serves its own beers brewed just across the yard (Friday 4-8pm, Saturday 12-8pm).
For longer walks, routes towards Evercreech (around 50 minutes on foot) lead you to The Bell Inn, a classic Somerset pub popular with walkers exploring the surrounding countryside.
